EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Keeping in mind the objectives of the Association, we work for the emancipation of girls through informal education. To facilitate the education of disadvantaged children, we run balwadis, in slum areas, offering a remuneration to the teacher.

In remote villages, we offer simple residential facilities to enable girls complete their education.

Food, clothing shelter are given at a very minimum fee. Even when students are unable to pay, they are considered favourably and offered education.
Students are empowered to grow into leaders, by encouraging them to work hard and fulfil their tasks and duties as responsible citizens.

Physically challenged students are offered opportunities for growth and development.

Different types of incentives are given so that they are motivated to continue their studies and secure certificates which prove valuable to their future.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

We work for the uplift of the marginalized, the excluded, disadvantaged and those living on the fringes of society.

Various programmes are organized and conducted for them in different parts of the country, where women are oppressed and suppressed.
Young girls are taught various skills of craft and handwork to enable them produce articles for which they find a market thus helping to increase the family income.

These are small income generating activities. Girls learn them, gain a sense of self-confidence and help to train others
