About us
Initially, the Congregation
was registered under the Companies Act in the name of CONGREGATION OF
SISTERS OF ST. JOSEPH OF CHAMBÉRY,
INDIA under the Indian Companies Act vii of 1913, bearing Registration
Number 1409.
As its members increased and were too numerous for practical purposes,
the Congregation of Sisters of St. Joseph of Chambéry, India was
bifurcated in 1991 and formed into a Society, under the name of
JEEVANDHARA SOCIETY OF SISTERS OF ST. JOSEPH, NAGPUR, registering itself
under Societies Act XXI of 1860, with the registration number 410/91
(Nagpur).
On 24 January, 1992, this
Society was registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 bearing
Registration Number F - 9536 (Nagpur).
On 06 August, 1992 the society was registered under FOREIGN CONTRIBUTION REGULATION ACT.
